TonEdi when we transgress against others and even with our selves we are all image bearers of God and such transgressions ultimately are transgressions against the creator Himself. The psalmist puts in quite eloquently
Psalm 51:4 Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.
Considering the attributes of God include Holiness and justice, which means no one will get ripped off and also His holy nature will not countenance evil for eternity so with this in mind.
