Short term-ism. Why don't you calculate the ROCE figure after the recent results. You will come to a conclusion that for every dollar EVN spends on the company they make vastly more in return. Would you rather spend that capital on dead end pursuits like a buyback or employ it the way they have been doing the last few years. The day that EVN starts drinking from the Buyback cup is the day that tells me Jake has run out of ideas in growing the company. I pray that day never comes...
EVN is in the business of making money and not in the business of selling shares unlike a lot of companies out there.
