"IF" the Government had any brains they would use some initiative and take away the Luxury Car tax on all electric Vehicles.

The Luxury Car Tax was only ever bought in to protect the Australian Car Manufacturing industry - this doesn't exit anymore.
if they did this then someone looking at a BMW, Mercedes, Porche or Audi would actually buy one of these cars as an EV in preference to a combustible because the price would be similar.

EV's will happen but our government need to pull its head out of the sand.

The libs don't support EV's, ask Alan Jones! lol They also forgo the Fuel Tax.... Wont be stopped for long as ICE sales are falling. No person in its right mind will buy and ICE now if in 7 years its worthless.IMO
