If you liked that, you'll love staff costs dropping from 426 to projected 250 next Q. It could be some overpaid management are falling on their swords (way overdue) but it looks like a massacre. CEO and CW should be taking a $1 salary until company is fixed or it's over. Instead, they have been paying themselves handsomely to f*** things up. It's the usual grift - playing house with investor's money, setting up offices on multiple continents, buying Aeron chairs, doing a revolving door of mates earning $100-$200K. The rank and file, however, will get low pay and their marching orders.
It would really be a miserable introduction to the world of the tech startup for those who don't know better. I feel for a lot of the juniors coming into these sort of companies. Who knows what sort of outrageous line they have been fed about their options?
