A stab in the dark is traders see the uptrend and buy on the way up. Most set their stops tight especially if they are only looking to scalp or capture a small part of the move.
A large holder dumps a few shares to set off stops and a chain reaction happens. Holder comes back and picks up shares at a discount and price reverses and continues on. Legal theft.
