I was thinking...
The greenies said that millions of animals were killed in the recent bushfires.
What sort of animals?
Large cute cuddly ones (koalas, kangaroos, etc)?...of course.
Small cute cuddly ones (marsupial rats, etc)?...of course too.
Birds?...yep (the mums and dads probably would have flown away, but babies would have perished.
Fish?...definitely! You only have to see how the greenies jump up and down when there is a large fish kill in some long forgotten waterway!
Large reptiles (goannas, snakes, etc)? As unattractive (to me) as they are, I'll put 'em in this list
Small reptiles (skinks, geckos, etc)? Well, you can't leave them out, just because they are small! That wouldn't be fair.
Annelids?...now that's opening up a can of worms, if you'll pardon the pun!
Insects (ants, bees, etc)?...Wow! This is bigger than Ben Hur!
I'm not finished yet...
Microscopic animals (amoebas, protozoans, etc)?...I can't even comprehend that number
So, the Greenies got it wrong...very wrong. It was way more than what they indicated...
PS: No disrespect to anyone who suffered loss in these bushfires...
