I have asked myself a similar question but I don't know enough about the torso scanner development and came to the following conclusion.
- The brain scanner is just way too expensive for COVID-19. A blood test is cheaper, and easier to read.
- The Torso scanner - The Torso scanner is probably too early in its development phase. X-rays, nuclei tests kits, blood tests are far cheaper and easier to use and train people with.
- The brain scanner could help with this in analysing tissue changes. However there isn't enough medical knowledge to understand if there is any effect on the brain.
re: your point about adapting it to the chest - well....R&D lead time far too long and there are better ways/equipment to detect this. Hence this is why I think EMV is such a valuable stock - technical complexity and long lead times prevent new competitors.
Right way of thinking, probably the wrong product to use for this scenario.
