I hold and hope like a holdy hopey thing, but I don't think the last couple of days has much to do with the new strategy. Not even sure we can call it the new strategy these days as it's been a few months; new-ish plan it is. The steady climb to the mid 20s could have have been achieved on the back of increased awareness and a solid plan. Yesterday and today feel like something else entirely and if it was someone(s) accumulating mid twenties and then engineering a bit of a spike to sell into, then I wouldn't be surprised. The impression that RAC is tightly held wouldn't have hurt when it came to selling.
Of course, RAC will at some point soon(ish) be releasing their plans for trials and - given their willingness to overhaul things last year - I'm hopeful for something well thought out and good on bang-for-buck. I'm pretty sure that would have to work as a bit of SP fertiliser and maybe there's accumulation in anticipation. Who knows? Not me.
