“Officials from several of those developers, including Tellurian, Cheniere, and LNG Limited, spoke at the Platts conference Thursday. While none expressed worry of possibly having to abandon projects, they all acknowledged the challenges facing the market, especially for developers relying on new offtake contracts.”

Like I said previously, there are a lot of powerful stakeholders working to make LNGL’s Magnolia (just like this other larger neighbouring project) happen.

National economic interests, building supply infrastructure for the long term and creating jobs in Louisiana are paramount for those stakeholders.

LNGL has plenty of options and a JV like this one could be one of them too.

Would also like to point out that the LNG price now has a higher low and appears to have bottomed.
