There’s a reason for the difference in MCs ..BYE is the operator and has stacks of its own high quality territory that it can drill for years on end without being thrown crumbs from Hilcorp or having to trawl around finding opportunities...it can even farm down or sell off some of those territories...it has a lot more assets. ..BYE has higher reserves....and the big money is going into BYE not OEL..it’s been like that for months even today...for example OEL has atm traded $350,000 worth of shares today.. SP up 27%
BYE has atm traded 3x more $ value $1,000,000 ..SP up 3%
OEL has way too many shares on issue...a large holder is always leaving the building...it will always hold the SP back imo
So there’s an argument both ways...be interesting to see how it turns out.
