I doubt that very much pretty sure it was low cost Asian imports that killed Holden and Ford
Ford Australia is just an import company now. Falcon selling numbers at the end were shocking at least the Commodore sold well.
I think by producing rear wheel drive Commodores and Falcons kept these companies alive alot longer than if they switched to FWD 4 cylinders like every other car maker.
