Yesterday I mentioned how MFG had a PE of about 36, and MC of $13.4B, NPAT was $364M in FY 2019
Well IFL has a PE of a whopping 86, a MC of $2.4B, NPAT was $198M in FY 2019
AMP has a very conservative PE of around 14, MC of $6.7B, and NPAT of FY 2019 of $464M
I think Mr Market is realising how undervalued AMP is when comparing it to other financial companies.
AMP is a Behemoth, one of the biggest and well known companies in Australia.
It really has had a very bad wrap over the past few years, and it was the scape goat at the RC, a lot of it just deserved and they paid the price.
However they are making amends for this and in the years ahead will become a Financial market leader once again. Hopefully this time they stay on the right track. With a good Board behind them, leading the way, this is very much possible.
