UCL found, proved up and has taken to BFS stage the largest undeveloped zinc mine in the world which also happens to have a copper resource bigger than that of many small copper explorers around the world.
Currently Mehdiabad is in a state of flux caused by illegal actions of the Iranian government partners. The current standing does not diminish this very impressive achievement by a junior explorer, doubted possible by people like Brabus all along the way. In the process they have attracted significant shareholders and management expertise. It's no action of UCL's that has stalled Mehdiabad.
Having already proven the company's tenacity, focus and capacity to achieve at Mehdiabad, I'm very happy to imagine what UCL can accomplish with the Sandpiper project. It's dramatically less complex and located in a less challenging environment.
