Haspete, I was referring to people buying shares in a company, not their products.
If a company has to advertise to get investors to buy then it probably isn't shares probably aren't worth buying. So many different types of investors from mum and dads to the big boys are looking for the inside info on investing ops that any half decent company should be able to raise some funds.
Is that better worded? Apparently I'm no good at it tonight. lol
Selling stuff to joe pubic is a whole different ball game as you correctly point out.
