This isn't the only thing Buffet has purchased recently. He bought into an energy stock a week or so ago (many $B's in that one too).

So he obviously is seeing some value out there and is on an acquisition hunt (which he always is, provided it makes sense to him).

Not surprised DOW is up, but at this point, Buffet is not interested in the DOW, just picking up business that others are discarding and where they have been under-valued by "the market" - which is probably true of a lot of businesses at the moment.
