Anything is possible but I don’t think this is being held up by Big Pharma. I think it’s a political hot potato - every one agrees it’s good for the people but no one wants their name associated with it as they fear/suspect a backlash because of the druggie stigma - conservatives are the puppet masters particularly our current Government - I don’t think Hillsong are coners??!! I think it is as stupid and basic as that IMO.
AC8 adding their two cents is a good thing. It’s a senate enquire and anyone could of provided a submission. The AC8 submission showed a detailed understanding of the role doctors play in this game, amongst other things.
I would expect most MM companies would of provided a similar submission. It’s the government asking what the people think which is a good thing but it also shows how far behind the rest of the world we are also, IMO.
