What a preposterous statement. Back in the real world, accountability in smaller companies is more transparent and easier to manage and individuals are responsible for designated areas of the business with much clearer lines than what happens in a large company.
Maybe e.g. the photocopier person is doing a great job (don't know this) and should be tarnished with the poor strategic direction of the company (know this).
Can't sack one, must sack all, what utter nonsense.
