Sorry, I half agree with both sides of the fence right now but am holding in hope that things will get better...

We seem to be canabalising ourselves again and I do feel tighty and ryana have every right to post their opinions as much as hardcore supporters of MKY. Everyone can form their own opinion regarding StA's and $'s posts but I think it would be fair to say that much of it is connecting the dots...Just hope they connect the way they think they will! We'll all be happy with the results if they do...

NLR, good that you post you are in the green but it can't be by much given todays's finish? I know it can be hard to have sympathy for people who have (potentially) lost a lot when you appear to have bought in near the bottom but try and understand their frustrations and genuine concerns. MKY has missed many, many of its own deadlines but even I am feeling that Steve is making big changes to the way these guys have been running.

    On the positive MKY has:
    -Good/great potential tenements
-Good current management (the last MD was questionable)
    -Its cheap!
-In the right place and AB has a good track record
The start of a WEBSITE (hooray!)

    However:
-Its is so long since the bauxite announcement that I can't count the 2-3 weeks
-We don't have any idea what we have in the tenements as yet and it will require a lot of work to find out
-AB emailed me personally in January to say a website etc was a high priority (apparently not)
    -The current market sucks!

Like many, I've done a lot of research of my own but I have to admit, speculating on Chinese demand for bauxite doesn't really have a lot to do with MKY until we hear more about our proposed deal/s. I can speculate the demand for oil is increasing and therefore my piece of land outback of Darwin might have oil should be worth a ton but is that correct?

I like reading all the posts both positive and negative. Personally, I think we'll all be fine but that may not mean much if we aren't. None of us want to lose money and I hold hope we'll all be laughing at this in the future.

I'm with $ right now regarding hanging onto MKY until 2010 (man, I've held it for over 12 months now anyway!) I also like to hear some posters who remind me THERE IS A REASON that MKY is trading near its all time lows (and 25% of its highs for the past 12 months.) Be that a buying opportunity or reason to fret, each ahs their own position.

OK, too big a post but does anyone know when the AGM will be and where? I'm back in Oz and in Melbourne, so a visit to the offices is my first priority (is just for a bit of fun...)
