It is a very complicated relationship imo, depends on what time of day and other certain aspects. Normally on eu cash open for example dow will pre-empt and can set direction. However during trade dow will try to follow dax with a bit of elasticity. Dax has quite a few us equity components which is why dow follows it. All in all dax is generally speaking the hardest index to trade on the planet except for maybe hk. Find that closer to the us open everything starts to follow us futs a lil closer as well. Ftse is a rogue index. Lol. Basically do the opp. of everything and ull make money on ftse.
