Personally I have a healthy scepticism of anything that looks like official government crowd control or fear mungering.
And if we had higher per capita incomes AGW would not even be debated but the Coalition has squandered it's years in office and even gave us a P.M. that thought it was a good idea the be on a holiday on Hawaii while our nation burned. So you will have to forgive me if I don't give much credence to anything that sounds like it eminates from anybody that's pro what can only be IMO described as "the orchestrated disrespect that is this Coalition Federal Government".
