Im glad you said doomsday, Scoots, now I can segue to Paul Kelly's doomsday lullaby. But first, how about some Load stats?

Where I live in SE Qld , summer isnt just Dec- Feb anymore, its Nov - Mar. So for those 5 months each year, I summed up the daily max temps (0.1 degree accuracy), and got a daily average for those 5 months.

So after eight years, each summer is now 67% longer, and the max temps over said 5 months has become hotter, on average, by 4.6 C. So whilst scientists talk about temps rising 1C per decade, its more like 1C every few bloody years!

Anyway, heres more good news, from Mr Kelly. "Its only a matter of degrees......."
