Looking simplistically, for you to make money by exercising options (paying the company the exercise price), as opposed to buying shares on the market, the current SP would need to be higher than the exercise price plus what you have paid for the options. Options assume a positive SP movement by their expiry date and, when this does not occur on the expiry date, they expire with a zero value.

The money from exercising options goes to the company and helps funding its future activities and it's usually a good thing, although this increases the number of issued shares (causes some "dilution").

You explained the option well and you maybe right about a positive movement.
Reading my attached chart It appears that ADR share price correlates better with the silver price.
Silver,will prove to be the most undervalued asset of the decade.
DYOR. Follow the HotCopper gold and silver posts but be suspicious of Dr Who ,Skol and trent3727.
