Rudd is right but the strength is not due to Rudd nor due to the Howard, Abbott and Costello show. Due to the china boom etc. The banks are strong because they bleed us dry and whenever they squander revenues on bad investments and big lunches they just put up their fees and rates. This guy from the ANZ said on television at a bankers big lunch something like- we are a business not a welfare provider. Well we will have to remind him of that if his bank is on the brink and he asks for a government bailout like in America.
