I was conscious of my very grumpy mornings, too. Still have them. But my baggy pants comfort me somewhat, lol.
Good upon you for getting back on the wagon, zam. I've read about that number of carbs but haven't got a carb counter, although have a book with a couple of pages I was planning on photocopying.
You do just kind-of get accustomed to the new "normal", slight headache and grumpy, but I usually enjoy a challenge so am quite resolved to continue as is. Best of luck with your efforts and the woman names milo over on Food and Nutrition is an experienced IF who posts every now and then which is useful.
