In case anyone is interested, I received a response to my question:CATL have the right, but not an obligation, to appoint a director. This right can be exercised any time they hold at least 7.5% of PLS shares. At this stage, CATL have advised they do intend to exercise this right to appoint a director however before doing so they will require certain regulatory approvals.
