Good question
I spose there are 2 answers ... what i think they will do ?
and what i would like them to do ?
they intend to spend up to $8m over 12 months
volume has thinned down considerably of late, around 65k a day this week, not much on offer at these prices
Is that because holders realise it is a screaming buy at this price ? or is it that stale bulls are waiting for the buyback and see if they cant get a better deal ? or both ?
lol
Shaws are handling the transactions, do they provide tactical advice in these situations ? Are they any good ? Cant see that they have done much for AMU in the past year or so, no real support imo ?
I digress..
Looking at the sell side atm if they come in swinging and clear some lines they could easy take it up 20% to 60c but they would only pick up say 3-400k shares, i think we would all be happy to see them do this. But what next ?
Have to agree with you in that at that point they will probably go softly softly and see what they can shake out
maybe put a floor in at 55c-57c no hurry but still good buying anywhere up to 65c-70c
The buyback not only will add value to remaining shares but allows the register to be purged somewhat of the 'dead wood'
Regardless of what some say by any measure this is a solid growth business that, it is widely agreed, is seriously undervalued with quality longlife assets and generous cashflow.
