Unfortunately, short term i think they are right.

We need the oil price to come up and because of a few sneezing Italian's and an insanely badly timed press conference by a certain Iranian health minister, that's going to take longer than i had anticipated.

It's worth considering the timeframe various posters are talking about and keeping an open mind to "negative" views. It's hard to read as a holder but that doesnt make it wrong. Short term the SP looks in trouble, longer term we all know where we are heading based on the fundamentals.
