    Good point....i looked at the shortman chart in comparison to the GXY chart and realised back in 2017 the shorts peaked in September, which is also the same time the stock started to rally. They cant be that stupid right?

    You might be right in saying they just borrow for show and dont actually dump the stock.....alternatively they may lend out for retail shorting at the bottom of the cycle just to have stupid minions drive down the price for them with zero risk.
