Agreed that the could just be evaluation wheels that were tested and that's where it ends. But, I do not believe that is the case because they have an official GM part number and stamp, and it was also registered with the Department of Transport. Also these wheels are very bespoke and polished, Carbon Revolution have never done a 5-spoke wheel before - they would be rough as hell if they were just for validation purposes.

GM didn't just let these wheels out - they were clearly stolen.
