ANZ Smith does not just want it to wash over as quickly as possible mate, he wants it to wash over with as little damage to anz and as little a cost to the bank.
Opes investors on these threads invest their spleen just in anz , unfairly I feel, without regard to the opes directors and favoured investors who are to blame for the mess.
If anz didn't have such big pockets the opes investors would not be going after them.
Should the present financial crisis settle down, I would class anz as the no. 1 buy in the banking sector.
Present mediation will continue , but on anz's terms.
So far all the judgements have been in anz's favour.
I expect this to continue.
