The top 200 shareholder list as at 23/09/08 is available from Intecs website. I'm of the opinion that it can offer a valuable insight into recent trading including the first two trading days this week, although I myself am not in a postion to engage in a thorough analysis of the list tonight. I note only that there is a new holding within the top 20, that of a Metcorp Financial PTY LTD, with 4,500,000 FPO shares.
On a COMPLETELY UNREALTED matter, I note that other posters have speculated about the possibilty of a capper placing a sell order for 4,500,000 shares, and I will follow this specualtion with interest.
Changes in existing holdings, new holdings and concentration of FPOs within the top 200 could all offer aditional insight into recent trading. I hope to examine the list more thoroughly tommorow.
