If you read the announcement.. you'd see that they aren't selling it across all myers store, but specifically the LiTMUS lab, which is a tech trial store for all things tech (including a whole wellness department, with things like remote bike lights, E-bikes, purifying water bottles etc).
They aren't going across the entire myers store range, this is a try-before-you-buy shop, so its' a good spot for a new product and it means they can sell online via various portals.
I'm not saying it's the bees knees of places to sell the product, but you make it sound like they are chucking into the back of myers alongside the womens footwear and Live-Love-Laugh home signs.
