I think it is merely academic anyway rather than pandemic. If there is to be a De-merger down the track, isn't this a good opportunity to buy back in at a likely small gain and a possible July de-merger windfall? Traders must be focused on short term gains and debt positioning? I think the mum and dad investors may have more smarts and the cash to ride the odd downturn out. If a company has a sound base with strong assets where is the risk to rate of return issue?
