Good to point this out but this is not as yet a financial crises, it is the falling down of the world economy.
It is more like a recession but at a very quick pace. How deep this economic downturn will go at a very fast pace, will depend on how much this virus shuts down production of everything.

I think it will become too big to quarantine everyone who is effected and they will just rely on people staying home. Which means the virus will spread all over the world, taking down the elderly and the ones with a weak immune system. The virus has already mutated into a different strain in Iran.

I still however, see gold going well up in price.
