Am not sure about a contender next to LNC or CNX as I believe that CNM have quite a way to go to prove up their ideas where as UCG has been around along time?

Also obvious difference is that CNM is a true green energy source, where as UCG is greener than normal uses of coal.

I think your question is probably better directed to the CNM forum at this point as they should have some background information on the tech involved and more info on the time frame etc.
