I have mentioned 56 months weeks and days and although I can't paste a chart at the moment, those who can may wish to look at SP500 from 25/08/87 and compare to 02/09/2008 onward.

The former was the classic 56 cal day crash period.

The 2 lows since 02/09/08 are on the same day count or within 1 of the pre crash lows in '87.

I would only worry if we now get a rally into around Oct 10ish. That coincides with end of Jewish holdiday's as well.

If that happened then I would be very careful of the following period into Carolan's lunar crash time of Oct 28.

My look at Carolan's work suggests it is not day perfect and +/- 2 days is better.
