Correct Deedy but it is notorious behaviour by bigger players to use prop buy bids or sell offers to scare punters into selling or buying who look at market depth. These manipulators put up chunky buys/sells just outside the realistic trading range of the stock and will remove them or move them up or down if the trading price gets close to their bids/sells. I have learnt never to use market depth as an indicator to predict share price movements. Too many shenanigans going on to rely on that fact alone. The 800k bid might be authentic though - I hope it is!
