Shorts reported has gone up, despite the ban on short selling.
Was: 808k on 25/9/08
Now: 854k on 29/9/08
This in addition to the previous unexplained change:
2.8 mil reported as short on 19/9/08
1.0 mil reported as short on 22/9/08
a difference of 1.8 mil shares "bought back" between close of trade Friday 19/9/08 and close of trade Monday 22/9/08 (ie, must have been bought back on Monday). But there was only a total of 950k traded on Monday 22/9/08!!!!!!!!!!!!!
