There is some risk involved! I don't think there's much chance of Australand failing, but that's still higher risk than a bank deposit. And there's short-term capital risk - AAZPB could well trade below current prices for some time.

I agree that in normal circumstances, 16% would be fantastic, but there's a plethora of high yield investment options at the moment.
