how much longer

MKY announces to the public on 5th September (26 days ago) that they intend to purchase Delminco Pty and its assets and this will be subject to ASX, AEC Board and MKY shareholder acceptence, starting with AEC board meeting on 17th of September (14 days ago).

Presumably the offer was tabled at AEC board meeting on 17th of September and it is now subject to the ASX, or do we now require the board of AEC to meet at its next board meeting before we hear of a decision ?.

I accept that this is sensitive information and should require a trading halt pending an announcement either way, but does anybody have any idea how long we are expected to sit and wait !!!!?
