old watso is getting a bit long in the tooth, but watso is interested in some detail, and if someone can provide the info, then all can learn a bit
gda released a report today which included a comment about recently discovered "historical" drilling results for the zeus prospect. which of course means that zeus was not a new prospect, as previously claimed. watso wonders where these "historical" drilling results were obtained from. from experience, the following is relevant. for tenements, there are annual expenditure requirements, and all exploration data has to be sent to the department of mines (or whatever), and all the results are then available for future explorers. the results are then on "open file" and often form the basis of future exploration programs.
obviously the "historical" results were somewhere, and that is why the company "discovered" them (that was a good discovery). it just seems strange that the gda have held these tenements for years, but have only now, discovered the results of previous drilling
something strange somewhere
