    I think you're confusing the UK take over code and the UK companies act. UNV is definitely covered by the UK companies act. All UK companies are. The shareholder rights of the UK companies act are also extended above the minimal protections by UNVs articles of association.

    Hence why UNV is going to court to verify if section 18.b of their articles apply.
