Benson, after looking at this for so long. I've given up that there would be a nuclear industry in Australia. Article might just be very small hope. The defence sector is really in a chicken egg situation way I see it. Military can't go nuclear because there is no domestic nuclear power industry. Nuclear power generation can't go ahead because of the Commonwealth biodiversity and environmental act of 1999 section 140A. We have Uranium minning, but as usual, we ship them overseas for other countries benefits. If, the military really wanted to do something about the situation, why can't they just order an SMR and go from there? Say its military use?
