I had a business meeting with a South African today , he gave me some disturbing information on the current conditions in SA , power cuts occur at 6pm right through to 6am in Durban and Lady Smith .
Eskom is in shambles as the last experienced management are repatriating them selves to mainly the previous English Colonies Canada , Australia , England mainly because the level of violence has ratcheted up in the last 3 months with police more interested in self preservation than taking on the criminals , so criminals now are emboldened and instead of just doing home invasions have upped the anti to make hostage on any authority they feel like including power companies , water utilities , mines , and more farms .
I am still holding this but I do wonder if what I am told is just anecdotal or legitimate
