Farmers on the whole were very greedy in that instance,,
even if the AUD slid back to 50 cents V USD Id still take on an good overseas loan..
keep in mind we are talking about small valued loans for housing up to say $300k not multi dollars for farmers to squander by leaving farm machinery out in some paddock top rust away like most of them still do or to pay for debt from mismanagement...
