All I can say is this. One can either feel a victim of circumstances or develop a sense of empowerment to deal with it.

For what it is worth, my first advice is identify the desired outcome. Follow this with three simple words, control the controllable.

If the goal is to silence Q, then how are you going to control or achieve that?

Or take this example. Toilet paper is in short supply at the moment. Either I can turn to social media and bemoan the situation and the behaviour of those who leave others vulnerable. Or, I can ring the supermarket and find out when the next delivery is likely to arrive and make an order online for instance. Which of these two alternatives leaves me the victim at the end of the day? I can't control others but I can make choices so that leaves stay on my trees around the house.

Alternatively, if your primary goal is to make money from your investment, then the same question - what choices do you have within your circle of influence?

And that is what we are in this for, to make money. This leaves doing reading and research, asking the company or trusted friends/holders questions, and of course, the basics - buy, sell or hold. We don't invest in the stock market, with the main intention being to banter on forums like hot copper.

Either we are the dog, or the tail that the dog wags.

Choose.

Although a few times I must admit, resistance to speaking openly and frankly has failed me. We are human after all.
