I wish the coal, (and by extension), the hydrocarbon industries in general would adopt a much more proactive and aggressive approach to their detractors. There are so many ways to counteract their ludicrous assertions it’s not funny. THE BEST FORM OF DEFENCE IS ATTACK.
The best one by far is simply this: “If you believe that fossil fuels are destroying the planet, then why don’t you set an example and boycott them?” Aren’t we in a ‘climate emergency’? There is no way to counteract that argument. None of these green alarmists are willing to adopt a fossil fuel free lifestyle. None. They are total hypocrites,
