hedging does nothing to protect the share price only the company, the share price will still go down, and for the people who say we now sell gas not oil it won't go down have always been completely wrong, and if the Dow goes down doesn't matter how good senex is going they will still retreat. You don't just buy shares in a company you buy shares in all the problems of the world
