You have made me aware of a massive flaw in my thinking. Thank you!
"..... just being a lazy investor".
I thought this was a forum where 'investors' could share ideas and incites and challenge each other's assumptions. And hence I thought by starting a conversation around competitors, gross profit margins and why revenue only rose 12% we could debate ideas and reasons like adults and hopefully make better informed decisions around whether to invest in ALC or not. I thought this was just ANOTHER Avenue of research.
But now that you point out not to expect to learn anything on HotCopper I'll just wait until I'm a shareholder in a stock and then come here to sing, dance and make unsupported statements like (random quotes from this thread) "I believe in general the gross profit margin will improve during the second half of FY", "The buyers are going to win over the next few weeks", "I'm thinking an acquisition is imminent".
