I won first place for a basket I weaved way back in the late 1950's at the Pine Rivers Show. True.
It was more good luck than good weaving as it just happened to turn out perfect, a feat that would be impossible for me to ever repeat.
The basket weaving groupies had their wicked way with me out the back of the show pavilion after that. That warped my mind forever and I never again picked up a piece of wicker after that.
